Face Queen and Castle, Kenilworth. Go R on main road round bend to find entrance
to Castle Car Park. Take car park entrance and go on service road, pass car park
to end of road, swinging L onto track. Follow path through woodland, bearing L at signpost to Rounds Farm.
Exit woodland and continue ahead to large oak. Turn R onto path signposted
Rouncil Lane Ford 1.5 miles.

Keep wooden fence on L until reaching a pond. Bear L around pond and
diagonally R across field. At metal gate turn R,
keeping fence to playing field L, continue to end of fence. Cross wooden footbridge
and go 1/2 L across field to find stile. Cross stile and then concrete footbridge.

Continue ahead to reach metal field gate to right of farm buildings. Go through
gate and
go ahead, ignoring paths
to right and left. Follow well-used path, keeping hedge L. Cross stile and
continue with hedge L to find gate leading to Rouncil Lane. On lane turn R and in 50 metres turn L to enter metalled track
leading to to Goodrest Farm.

Go on track and pass under power cables
to find metal gate in hedge L. Take gate, and go with barbed wire fence L
to take second metal gate to R of lone tree.
Go 1/2 L to find field edge and old stone bridge, cross bridge and go 1/2 R up
field to junction of paths. Do not take path onto golf course but stay in field
and go R on wooded path. Path leads to field.

Continue in field with hedge L to come to field corner stile. Take stile
and continue with hedge L to come to gate. Continue with hedge L under power
lines to take metal gate into wood.

Follow path through wood to emerge on golf course. Follow way-marks to R
ahead, keeping pylons to the left and hedge on right. Go through hedge gap and
go around field edge to find stile in far right comer stile.

At open field go 1/4 L to pass under power lines with Woodloes Farm on right. At junction with metalled
track to farm turn L. Follow track junction with lane. Go R follow lane over A46 (Kenilworth Bypass) to come main road (A429)

Go R on road. Go over large roundabout to come to canal bridge. Before
bridge take path R to join towpath and turn L to pass under Bridge 49 in the direction
of Leamington. Pass a number of
Narrow Boat repair yards on the way to Bridge 46 (Tesco Superstore).
Continue ahead to Bridge 41. Leave towpath and turn L into Tachbrook
Road.

At traffic lights, cross road into Lower Avenue, passing under bridge. At junction, turn R into Spencer Street and proceed towards
Parish Church. At Church turn L
into Victoria Terrace, cross Victoria Bridge and turn R into Jephson Gardens.

to Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre.

Face Leisure Centre at Newbold Common, Leamington Spa. Go R, in the direction of Leamington,
continue ahead making way L to edge of trees.
Find path (Riverside Walk) continuing ahead to Willes Road.

ahead through Gardens and exit opposite Royal Pumps Rooms.

Go ahead on Tachbrook Road. After some 50 yards find entry to tow path on
the right hand side of road.
(W88) Go down onto towpath and turn R (Do not go under Bridge 41). After 2 miles go under Bridge 49 and immediately take path up to road.

Go L on road to large roundabout. Continue ahead 300 metres to find
Woodloes Lane on left.

Enter Woodloes Lane. At fork, keep L to leave cottages on R.
Continue on and over A46 (Kenilworth Bypass), eventually forking L to Woodloes Farm

100 metres before farm, turn R
across field passing under power cables to exit
field by gate. Go ahead with wall R then ahead across field top pass to L of
hump to find metal gate.
Take gate and follow way-sign L round edge of field to exit by field
corner gap. Go ahead with with hedge L skirting
golf course to L of pylon.

At second pylon, enter woods to left and follow well-defined pathway.
Beware quad bikes on L! Exit
wood at metal gate and continue ahead with hedge on R (ignore signed path R onto
golf coarse).
Pass pond on L to metal gate in corner of field, continue ahead to
wood (this marks the boundary of the Warwickshire Police Headquarters at Leek Wootton). Do not enter wood but go L with wood R down field to cross ditch
bridge up to metal gate. Take gate and go ahead across field to exit by gate to
driveway.
(W93) Turn R and follow metalled road to junction with Rouncil Lane. Cross road to take metal gate, then 1/2 R to go with hedge R to follow field edge and exit by corner gap with sleepers bridge. Continue ahead with hedge R to exit by metal gate.

Go ahead with hedge R to end of field. Take
metal gate and go ahead pass large farm on R (Oaks Farm) to find corner
concrete bridge and stile. Cross bridge ahead to find stile. Take stile and go
ahead to field corner to find gate to small wooden bridge.
(W95) Cross bridge and go ahead with fence R (ignore stile R to playing fields), continue ahead with fence R to find metal gate. Take gate, cross field centre, pass dew pond R, to come to field edge, go R along grassy corridor to exit by gate to driveway.
